What We Do

Divorce and Separation

We represent clients in contested divorce petitions and mutual consent divorce proceedings under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, the Special Marriage Act, 1954, and the personal laws applicable to other communities. We also handle judicial separation proceedings where immediate divorce is not sought but separation is necessary.

Child Custody, Visitation, and Guardianship

We appear in custody and guardianship proceedings before Family Courts, the High Courts, and the Hon'ble Supreme Court — always with the child's best interests as the paramount consideration. We handle interim custody applications, access and visitation orders, and relocation disputes, including matters with an international or NRI dimension.

Maintenance and Alimony

We represent clients seeking or contesting maintenance — including interim maintenance during proceedings, permanent alimony after divorce, and maintenance under Section 125 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS). We appear before Magistrate Courts, Family Courts, and High Courts in maintenance proceedings.

Domestic Violence

We assist prospective adoptive parents and guardians in adoption proceedings under the Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act, 1956 and the CARA guidelines, and in guardianship applications under the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890.

Timelines in Indian litigation vary considerably depending on the court, the nature of the matter, and how the other side conducts itself. We give you a realistic assessment of the likely timeline at the outset — based on the specific court, the current workload of the relevant bench, and the procedural steps involved. We do not make unrealistic promises about timeframes.

What should I bring to my first consultation?

Bring all documents relating to your matter — FIR copies, court orders, contracts, property documents, correspondence, legal notices, and any government communications. Even if you are unsure whether a document is relevant, bring it. The more information we have at the first meeting, the more precise our initial advice will be.

Do you take cases on an urgent basis?

Yes. We understand that many legal matters — particularly bail applications, injunctions, writ petitions involving illegal detention, and bank account freezing matters — are time-critical.
